The Lungau offers you the perfect combination of an active holiday and relaxation with your faithful companion. Countless hikes in Summer,a s well as in Winter are a treat for both you and your pet. Swimming with your dog is permitted in our Lungau mountain lakes, and some gondolas also allow you to transport your four-legged friend.

The daily flat rate for an overnight stay for your four-legged friend is € 15.00 per day.

  • On request, more than one dog is allowed in the flat or in the holiday home.

  • Dogs are allowed in the lounge of the holiday home

  • Walks can begin directly from out door, both Summer and Winter

  • Cloths to wipe and clean your dog  are available on request

Are dogs allowed at Schau’s Lüftenegger in Mauterndorf?

Yes, dogs are very welcome in designated double rooms of the Zirbenpension and in selected apartments, on request and with prior registration. Please let us know directly with your enquiry so we can reserve the ideal room for you and your four-legged friend.

Which services and excursion tips do you offer for holidays with a dog?

Beautiful nature trails and walking paths start right outside our houses — ideal for the daily walk in the Lungau. In winter and summer alike, our reception team is happy to give you tips on dog-friendly routes, dog-friendly mountain huts and the rules of conduct on the alpine pastures in the Biosphere Park.

What costs apply when bringing a dog?

To cover the increased cleaning effort we charge a fee per dog and night (food not included). Dog baskets and bowls are gladly provided on request, so your loyal companion enjoys a holiday just as relaxing as yours.
