The enthusiasm of our landlord Günter & his team for sport and exercise and the sincere effort for genuine hospitality, form the best conditions for your perfect holiday in Salzburger Land. The "landlord" at schau´s Lüftenegger is Günter Lüftenegger. The innovative entrepreneur, who also runs a painting business in addition to his tourism businesses, is supported by his mother: Ilse Lüftenegger and his team Veronika and Isabell.

In 1964, Günter Lüftenegger took over the business. He recognised the potential of the Lungau tourist region and continuously developed the offer for his guests. Thanks to his commitment and the increasing demand in tourism, the entrepreneur now runs the schau s' Lüftenegger Zirbenpension, the flat house & a holiday home with a total of over 80 beds.

Günter Lüftenegger - a motivated host

Since 1995, host Günter Lüftenegger has been looking after the well-being of his guests with a lot of passion and heart and soul. Günter is what you might call a visual person. For him, colours are connected with strong emotional values far beyond his professional occupation. In addition to his painting business, he also works with much love and heart in the guesthouse and likes to accompany our guests on a hike. Always with a connecting smile on his lips, this proud entrepreneur interprets being a hotelier in a rather unusual way. Among other things, he is an enthusiastic sportsman and motor pilot.Gunter is a gregarious host willing to celebrate events, and enourage guest to immerse themselves in the environment if they wish . He names sport, flying and touring as his three main hobbies. "I like to be in the mountains", sings and sounds in his soul, but he also likes to be with our guests in a hut in summer or winter and enjoy himself.

Veronika - the good fairy

A native Hungarian and long-time employee of Günter, Veronika completes the good soul of the house & the Lüftenegger team. Veronika puts a smile on every guest's face early in the morning when she brings fresh coffee to the table and whips up a delicious omelette.  Our fairy godmother ensures a glamorous holiday in the background. In her free time, Veronika tends to take it easy and can be found with her friends, or somewhere in the garden with a book. She loves reading and crossword puzzles. Veronika is most likely to get emotional about matters of good taste. This keeps the hobby cook busy right into the kitchen. After all, you also eat with your eyes!
