Where exactly is Schau’s Lüftenegger located in the Lungau region?

Our Zirbenpension, the apartment house and the holiday house are located in the historic, quiet market centre of Mauterndorf in Salzburg’s Lungau region (address: Markt 25, 5570 Mauterndorf). Thanks to the central location you enjoy a direct view of the historic Mauterndorf Castle. Restaurants, cafés, bakeries and the ski bus stop are all within a few minutes’ walk.

Which types of accommodation can I book at Schau’s Lüftenegger?

We offer three tailor-made accommodation options for your holiday in the Lungau: our traditional Zirbenpension with 10 cosy stone-pine rooms & 2 comfortable suites (including our popular regional breakfast), our separate apartment house with 6 fully equipped holiday apartments, and our spacious holiday house, which is perfect for families, groups or couples travelling together.

Is parking available at the accommodations, and what about e-mobility?

Yes, free parking is available for our guests directly at our houses. For electric vehicles we offer a straightforward charging option on site (billed by consumption). If you would like to travel in an environmentally friendly way without a car, we are happy to help you plan your journey to the Lungau Biosphere Park by train and bus.
